Q. Who is a Professional Organizer?
A. As defined by the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), “a professional organizer enhances the lives of clients by designing systems and processes using organizing principles and through transferring organizing skills. A professional organizer also educates the public on organizing solutions and the resulting benefits. Professional organizers help individuals and businesses take control of their surroundings, their time, their paper, and their systems for life.”

Q. How long will it take?
A. Every project is different; therefore, the amount of time required is different. The quantity of stuff to organize, your commitment to the project, financial considerations and scheduling are all determining factors in a project's length.

Q. How much does it cost?
A. Again, it depends on the project. Each project's fees are based upon the project's extensiveness.

Q. What can I expect from Avery?
A. A woman who is professional, enthusiastic, creative, flexible, dependable and patient. I treat each person with the utmost respect and approach each project with an objective, non-judgmental perspective, believing the finished product is not only a reflection of the client, but also of me.

Q. What is expected of me [the client]?
A. I hope each client will be an active participant in the organization process. In doing so, the client will learn the fundamental skills to remain organized and feel empowered to continue implementing organizational processes.
